What's inside the balls?
The BoHo Bocce balls are solid wool. About 3.5" in diameter. A bit larger than a tennis ball and not as bouncy.

A new twist on the game of Bocce Ball
BoHo™ Bocce is a fun, casual version of the Italian game of Bocce Ball brought indoors by Outside In Games! It's a game for the whole family, for all seasons. Each ball is handmade of solid felt by Nepali craftspeople.
No Bocce court is needed. You play BoHo Bocce in your home. The furniture, walls, stairs, etc. are all part of the playing field. Since the felt balls only weigh about four ounces each, your walls and furniture won't be damaged. The added dimension of using furniture and walls as obsticals is what makes BoHo Bocce different than official Bocce.
Check out the BoHo Bocce website to see how beautiful this game is as a home decor piece when you're not playing. http://www.bohobocce.com/
An instruction booklet is included, but if you know how to play Bocce, BoHo Bocce is played the same way except you don't have to measure after each ball is rolled, because teams alternate regardless of who's closest to the pallino. This will help the game move faster and make it easier for children of all ages (including 80 year old children) to play.
